Ministers stressed the need to advance cooperation in navigation safety, marine environmental protection, fishery and search and rescue to achieve mutual benefits and create highlights in maritime cooperation. China is ready to discuss the establishment of a bilateral comprehensive economic partnership with Indonesia.

Wang suggested that China is ready to work with ASEAN countries, including Indonesia, to push forward the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and take the opportunity of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relations between China and ASEAN to upgrade the level of China-ASEAN ties.

China supports Indonesia in hosting the G20 Summit next year and stands ready to continue to maintain sound cooperation with Indonesia under multilateral mechanisms and jointly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of developing countries, Wang said, which was appreciated by Retno Marsudi.
